Worst Hair Salon

I will never go back to Private I Salon. I made an appointment for hair coloring and ended up waiting at least half an hour. Then my appointment took 3 hours to complete because they colored half my hair and went to work on someone else's hair, several times. The worst part is their technique for applying the color, the lady just smear the color onto the head like she's coloring my head so alot of the color got onto my head, and only parts of my hair. She yanked my hair so hard that the entire comb was filled with my hair!!!! I have shoulder length hair and they charged me an unbelievably $95.00. Everything about Private I is horrible: extremely bad service and quality, no professionalism whatsoever. This is the first and last time I'm going there!

great cut, great value.

ken did a great job with my haircut. he put lots of time and care into creating the perfect style for my face, with little snips here and there. he added just the right amount and length of wisps to frame my face. he was very skilled and experienced with the scissors. if you're looking for atmosphere, this isn't it. it's a typical little asian salon that couldn't care less for ambiance. but if you're looking for value and a good realiable cut like i am, this is the best that i've found in the city.

Quite disappointing

I had been going to Private I for almost two years - keyword "had" - but unfortunately, I'm now looking for a new salon due to the unbelievably rude service I received today. I had a 12:30 appt. and arrived at 12:25. The receptionist confirmed my arrival and appt. time and the next thing I knew, my stylist started going to work on somebody else's hair! I had made the appointment specifically with him, who had always been my only stylist there. I decided I was not to wait half an hour and then throw a hissy fit, so I walked right out. I am very disappointed with the service at Private I.
