Great at capturing the ambiance. Misti came highly recommended to us from a friend, and I'm so happy we used her. Our photos are excellent -- both the candid shots and those which were "posed". Added bonus? When we realized we had forgotten our 1st dance song? She had it on her iPod! Saved the day and captured it beautifully.

Misti Lane Photograpy - SUPERB. We recently hired Misti to photograph our wedding and could NOT be happier with the results. She was a delight to work with and the photos turned out so beautifully. She captured the shots we want without any of the cheesiness you see in so many wedding photos. And both my (now) husband and I are camera shy and couldn't believe how many GREAT shots she got. So happy we chose to work with Misti to capture these wonderful memories. Don't skimp on your photographer, you found a great one, book her!!!!!!!!

ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL. I had never gotten professional photos taken of me before and Misti was amazing she never made me feel uneasy... she was quick and accommodating! She did everything I asked of her! I would highly recommend her to anyone who needs any type of photos taken... from Christmas cards photos, to headshots, to wedding... AMAZING!

Professional and friendly. Misti was my wedding photographer and she was absolutely amazing. She was incredibly easy to work with and extremely talented in capturing great candid shots as well as the formal ones. She always had a ready smile and made you feel so comfortable. Very affordable and you get tons of photos from her.

San Francisco's Best Photographer. It was less than 2 weeks until my wedding and the family friend who was doing our photography came down severely ill and would no longer be able to photograph my wedding. I frantically searched for photographers in the area and found Misti Layne. After explaining my situation, she was very sympathetic and wanted to help us out in any way she could. I couldn't have been more thrilled, not only is Misti a WONDERFUL photographer, but she has that fun, funky, candid style of photography that my fiancee and I love. The day of the wedding, she arrived right on time (if not early) and got straight to work. She was so casual and non-evasive, my guests, my fiancee and I hardly knew she was there. She was able to get into the center of the action without getting into anyone's face. She was respectful of our wish to have a minimal amount of staged photos so everyone, even my new husband and I, was able to spend 99.9% of the time having fun instead of posing for photos. My guests actually came up to me during the reception to compliment me on my choice of photographer. I couldn't have been luckier! Thanks so much Misti!!

if you're looking for fun photos, this is your gal. Misti is so nice and personable, and got us right out of our shells! i think we had more fun having our pictures taken for the engagement shoot, then the wedding, due to weather factors and such, but we made due. i've heard her animal shots are fabulous too!

Best photographer around.. Misti is great. Period. She was professional and funloving at the same time. Punctual and attentive. She made it easy to be ourselves and took great pictures. We hired Misti to photograph our wedding and engagement pictures. Maybe 200+ people at the wedding. She got some great candid shots of just about everything. You know that time/place at the wedding when you forget you are being photographed and your just laughing and carrying on, and she caught it. You know, "the moment". It was a blast to look at the photos afterward and see all the amazing pictures of everyone having a blast. I had several people tell me it was the best, funnest wedding they had ever been to and Misti was part of that experience for us. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a great photographer and a really great person in general. Very easy going, which isn't easy given all the different personalities at an event such as a wedding. She made every happy and didn't sacrifice the quality of her work to do so. Great Service, great Smile and Great Work!. I needed a good picture of myself, so i did a search for photographers in the area - - gave misti a try, and what a great experience. Not only is she pleasant, friendly, accomodating, genuine and sincere, but she also does really great work. I'm a pretty tough critic, so for me to rate someone well, they have to score well in all categories - - misti was easy to work with, her photos are very artsy, natural, and geared toward the individual (which she actually gets to know). I recommend without reservation.

Fantastic, creative, caring photographer. We were so happy to have Misti photograph our wedding! We looked extensively at work from other photographers and found Misti's work the most professional, creative, and heartfelt. And, better yet, Misti has a fantastic personality and is fun and easy to work with. She helped us design a pre-wedding photo session which turned out some amazing shots. Then she worked closely with us to design what we wanted for our wedding day. We were extremely pleased with the results and with the album she helped us design after it was all over. We felt that the price for her services was extremely reasonable considering the high quality and the caring and responsiveness Misti provided were more than worth it! We've been recommending Misti to all our friends who are getting married or want other family pictures. She's fantastic and we can only give her a huge thumbs up!
