Poor customer service

There is no pet shop close to my house,so I have purcahsed some pet's supplies here more than years. However,I always feel unwelcomed and their staffs are not helpful.I called and asked a man about the supplies which I had ordered more than few weeks ago.First,he kept me on hold more than 10 minutes and no apology for that.It was very rude.I found out the supplies were still not ordered and the man did not understand what I was talking about.(Maybe he forgot to order...)I WILL NOT GO BACK ANYMORE!
The Best Pet Supply Store In San Francisco
by beth_bishop
Prices are very competitive and John the owner totally knows his stock. I might wander in there and say "I'm looking for a wheat free kibble and it has an orange wrapper" and boom, Evo Kibble. Same way with anything I need even though the stock is hanging right there for anyone to see, if they are not too busy they will get you the item. Actually they will get you the item even if they are busy. There is also always someone to help me carry my order to my car if I have a heavy package. They are always up to date on new items, like wheat free dog chews. They have about 50 different kinds of dog chews. There are literally thousands of items at B and B. This is a great pet supply store.
- Pros: Selection, Prices
great store/prices, staff is hit-or-miss

The good: this store is well stocked, they have competitive prices, and most everything is easy to find. The male staff members have (in my experience) always been friendly, helpful, and knowlegeable.
The bad: I went in a while back, looking for an Elizabethan-type collar for my dog. I asked for *exactly* what the vet had told me to ask for, and the clerk ignored me for a moment, then (when I asked a second time) said, "Oh, no... we don't have that." I quickly glanced around and just happened to see the product I was looking for right next to the register (!!) and showed it to her. She said, "Oh, okay." Just like that. It was clear she had no interest in helping anyone (it was not busy at all and I am very courteous when I ask people for things). I've had a similar treatment from the other female staff member... not sure why that is.
