Regardless of a patron's ancestry, the vintage Guinness ads and "Cause of Ireland" propaganda gracing the walls will Dublin-ize their soul. Near the front pool table are a host of long wooden benches that bisect the pub. Music is an integral part of the experience. There are Irish jams six nights a week, including traditional seisiuns most weeknights, when fiddlers, flautists and others join ranks for some old-fashioned speed metal.
great music and traditional setting
by senornathan
The Plough has great traditional music duiring the week and have other offerings on the weekends. I prefer the traditional music throughout the week. The review talking about no happy hour must not be from around here. The Plough is a place you go to drink and listen to good music, not a place to go for happy hour.
- Pros: Great Celtic musice duiring the week
No happy hour!
by ecsav
The afterwork scene is lame and there is NO happy hour. The bartender was nice, but that was about the only possitive thing of note.
authentic Irish Pub
by moonlightgrahams
This place is so authentically Irish that some of my Irish friends feel like its too much like there in a country pub. But if you aren't sick of the old country you'll like it. With Irish music and very laid vibe this is the place to go for the "Irish pub" experience.
