Good cheap fun!.
The Rock-it Room is pretty friken sweet! There are two full bars, down stairs and upstairs when bands are playing. They have the NBA/NFL ticket with tons of TV's so everyone can watch their favorite games. $3 drafts on Sundays. And tons of little VIP booths to make you feel special :)
I still haven't been to watch a band, but I hear it's awesome and I definitely need to check it out!
Solid Inner Richmond bar. Rockit Room is the only bar in the Inner Richmond that I will go to, mostly because the other bars are pits. The Rockit Room is cool, but not pretentious, casual but not divvy. The bartenders are nice and the drinks are strong. I wouldn’t make this a destination bar, but it’s great for a local weekday drinking sesh.
A two-tiered collegiate bar serving up live music almost every night of the week in the Outer Richmond.. A pool table, TVs tuned to sports share space with bar stools on the main floor of this laid-back haunt. Admission is only charged for patrons who go upstairs to listen to live music in a spacious room that has unusually good acoustics. The jukebox (downstairs) features everything from rock to rap classics, while the live music typically runs the gamut from cover bands to hip-hop.
Great for live music!. If you're into seeing live bands this is your spot. They book all kinds of bands here. The night we went was mostly indie rock bands but they have metal nights as well. If you don't like the music you can hang out downstairs. That's a nice option.
Good times, everytime. I have had nothing but good experiences at the Roclit Room. They always have great music playing downstairs. I have never been upstairs but I hear it rocks. The drinks are a bit pricey, so I just go for the shots of Patron or Cazadores. The little pool tables are fun too, especially after a few drinks. Overall a good experience everytime.
New Bartender(s)...Finally.
I've been mostly disappointed since the Rockit changed from The Last Day. But living in the neighborhood, I inevitable end up at the Rockit at some point. I wanted to give kudos to the new female bartender working last night - I think it is the first time that I have ever gotten served with a smile and no attitude. Finally!
Drinks waaaaay overpriced, but the jute box at the Bitter End was broken, so I made my way across the street. Overall, I think the Rockit is a pretty crappy bar, but I keep going back hoping there will be some of the greatness that was there when it was The Last Day.
DONT WASTE YOUR TIME. Talk about an unfriendly neighborhood bar.....This place travels under the pretention of a neighborhood spot with afforable prices and cute girls. NOT AT ALL. Don't waste your time....the management are a bunch of jerks and you'll be paying out of your nose for a watery drink.
EXPENSIVE AND NOT WORTH IT. This place is crappy...the staff is unfriendly and the drinks are watered down. Not only are the drinks expensive to begin with, but you have to buy way too many of them to get any effect. To hear the crappy entertainment is overpriced in itself and is not worth the travel time to get out there.
HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I would certaintly not recommend Rockit Room due to its terrible customer service and overpriced drinks. The managers of the bar were incooperative and unpleasant when a refund (partial or full) was asked after the main musical act did not go on stage until 2 1/2 hours after the announced time. This bar is not worth the drive to the Richmond District nor the overpriced $12 it costs to see the musical entertainment.
Cool bar.. overpriced drinks.
I had my first chance to check out the Rockit Room since it changed from the Last Day Saloon.
I really dig the new look of the place. However, the drink prices are outrageous! I remember the Last Day Saloon having really decent prices. I think I paid 5-6 bucks for a beer, 7 dollars for a shot of Jaeger, and 7 dollars for a mixed drink. You won't even pay those prices in the mission let alone a bar in the middle of nowhere.
