A pool table, TVs tuned to sports share space with bar stools on the main floor of this laid-back haunt. Admission is only charged for patrons who go upstairs to listen to live music in a spacious room that has unusually good acoustics. The jukebox (downstairs) features everything from rock to rap classics, while the live music typically runs the gamut from cover bands to hip-hop.
Great for live music!

If you're into seeing live bands this is your spot. They book all kinds of bands here. The night we went was mostly indie rock bands but they have metal nights as well. If you don't like the music you can hang out downstairs. That's a nice option.
Good times, everytime

I have had nothing but good experiences at the Roclit Room. They always have great music playing downstairs. I have never been upstairs but I hear it rocks. The drinks are a bit pricey, so I just go for the shots of Patron or Cazadores. The little pool tables are fun too, especially after a few drinks. Overall a good experience everytime.

New Bartender(s)...Finally
by missmac1001
I've been mostly disappointed since the Rockit changed from The Last Day. But living in the neighborhood, I inevitable end up at the Rockit at some point. I wanted to give kudos to the new female bartender working last night - I think it is the first time that I have ever gotten served with a smile and no attitude. Finally!
Drinks waaaaay overpriced, but the jute box at the Bitter End was broken, so I made my way across the street. Overall, I think the Rockit is a pretty crappy bar, but I keep going back hoping there will be some of the greatness that was there when it was The Last Day.
