Editorial Description for O'Keefe's Bar
From the owners to the regulars, this Inner Richmond watering hole is old-school Irish--but USF students call it home, too.
Insider Tips
Know Before You GoParking is notoriously tough to find in this part of the Richmond, so the 31 Balboa bus, which stops within walking distance, is a good bet. Just be prepared to cab it home if leaving much after midnight.
Look GoodDressed-down and casual is the way to go, but be prepared to air the duds out for a day or two afterward--this is a smoker's haven, and has the haze to prove it.

Best little bar in the Richmond district. Eclectic locals add flavor and flair to this authentic Irish pub. At the bar, you will find a strong cast of regulars drinking pints of Guinness, playing cards and pool to their hearts content. The jukebox contains classic hits of all genre's and generations. A must-hit spot for any visitor to San Francisco. If you want to walk on the wild side, this is the place to be. Upstairs there's always a party.
Pros: beer, craic, ceol
