Cute place. My husband choose this restaurant for it's location and reviews. We had a family Birthday celebration there. My daughter ordered the Chicken Marsala which was fantastically tasty, my son ordered the special risotto and crab cakes which he enjoyed very much. My husband had the trout pasta special and was quite pleased. My oldest daughter enjoyed the potato leek soup. However, my pasta came beyond al dente-it had to be sent back-my first send back ever! The dish never really did it for me (pasta bologense). I might try this restaurant again for the Chicken Marsala. The desserts were grand. The waiter gave us one dessert at no charge-a nice touch.

roooomantic, great food, sweet service and so charming. I felt like being back to my country: Italy

what a great surprise ! my husband and I were walking on Sacramento when we spotted this lovely charming restaurant. We decided to stop for dinner and it felt magic since right away. Great charming ambiance, ROMANTIC, beautiful garden, great service, well distanced table and quite. Our waitress was lovely and so the food she brought. We ordered the prosciutto wrapped figs , spinach salad, salmon with lemon reduction and cappers, tagliolini and a great chocolate cake. Really in expansive. Everything was so perfect that I wished we went there for our anniversary

Romantic jewel box of an Italian restaurant with premier garden patio.. In Short
This quiet hideaway is a Presidio Heights favorite for special occasions and intimate California-Italian dining. Wood floors, high windows and mirrors, wrought-iron chandeliers and subtle Mediterranean colors grace the enchanting dining room; in back, a flower-strewn veranda allows for romantic brunch, lunch or dinner encounters. The menu includes traditional, seasonal Italian specialties prepared with fresh local ingredients, and an above-average wine list.

What A Find!. This place is great! We were welcomed in by the owner of the place and promtly seated. The lunch menu a great variety of selections, the food was great (large portions and very homestyle!). Best of all we got to listen to the owner crack jokes, and it seemed like he knew everyone who walked through the door. I will definately visit again, and this time opt fot the patio tables!

groups? of course they can handle that!!. The food is very good, the atmosphere is cozy and the prices are fair... Probably it needs a little bit of make-up (when was the last maintenance job?)... but definetively, they did very good job with my 25 people brunch!!

clean well lighted place. quaint somewhat hidden neighborhood restaurant in presidio heights offering a lmited but good selection of american/italian fare...

food is good, but not fancy; feels like a home-cooked meal; portions are very good...

family owned restaurant and really feels like it in the best way; our hostess, an older lady, was delightfully hospitable and made us feel like we're coming to her house for dinner...

highly recommended as a "regular" haunt for locals, but not an event restaurant
