limited menu. I love kal bi & this place was recommended by friends. It was a big disappointment. The kal bi was fatty, mostly bone, a small portion, not tender & the marinade was tasteless. The chicken was great. The complimentary items provided were less in number & variety than other koren bbq places. Service not good. A table who was seated 15 mins after us and even after we placed our food order, was served food before us (complimentary items & kal bi). It took 30 mins for us to get any food while the diners next to us gobbled away. This was after a 30 min wait in line! Too many other Korean bbq places on Geary to bother with this location.…

Great Korean. I'm Korean and I've had my fair share of Korean food. I've tried many places including others listed here like Brothers but somehow this one has all the proper elements of a mid-range Korean restaurant.

I really like this place over many of the others I've tried and I always come back. Why? The banchan (side dishers) are great and the spicy soup is awesome. The barbeque is very good but a bit messy - wear something that can be washed! The ventilation isn't the best when lots of grills are on but adds to the 'atmosphere'.

I recommend the galbi or bulgogi barbeque. Soups, seafood and other dishes may disappoint the traditionalists.…

Very disappointing. I never received such poor service in my life! The food was okay, but the service is very BAD!!! After the lady seated us in the round table, she then made us move to the long table jsut because we only ordered two BBQ dishes. She didn't apologize and she even said, "Would you please," in a very mean voice to me and my friends. Not worth going to this restaurant because there are other better Korean restaurants on Geary!…
