Best Thai food in the city. I have been going to this restaurant for about 15 years. We used to live in the city and went to this restaurant about 5 times a month. Anyone dare to poopoo or give a bad review to this place, you are seriously not interested in authentic thai food. I can't vouch for all of the servers, but the owners are really nice. The wife does the cooking every night and husband works the restaurant most nights. I have been to Thailand and the food is very authentic. I have had many, many bad Thai food in many different places and this place is superb for all of those reasons. If you go next time, be sure to order the Duck Red Curry. I swear it is better than sex. The sauce and combination of spices and duck is just amazing. My husband always has to order 2 every time we are there because he will not share and just inhale the entire dish by himself. Who can blame the guy? All of their dishes are really good because it is quite authentic. I miss the city because of this place and we always eat, at least twice, when we visit the city these days. i know the owners will retire in the next few years and it will be a sad day when i cannot get my duck red curry. Have fun at this place and good eating!

Disgusting place, So so food.. the one time i went there it was early evening.got seated failry quickly. The host person was cold and very un approachable.Atfer awhile the waiter came by to take our order. We ordered our food, we started with some appetizers that took forever to get to us.Noticed lipstick stains on my water glass.Dried particle of food still on my plate. But i wasnt going to let that get me down.i had the BBQ chicken my wife had a eggplant type of dish it was ok.Actually kind of bland.at any rate we finished up.The waiter asked if we wanted to take the left over's home.i politely declined and paid the check.I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Highly Recommended. The food is great. This restaurant offers authentic family-style Thai food, unlike the other fast-food Thai restaurants around. There's a sauteed shrimp that I order every time that is excellent. No need to worry about it being spicy; even "medium" isn't spicy, while "mild" is hardly spicy. Their level of spices cater to us Americans, not to Thai people, said the owner, who came out to talk to us about the food.

Service is good; the waitstaff are all courteous. They look professional and consistent with their Thai uniform.

Parking is difficult, even on a weekday.

The downside is that this place is super tiny; I wish it was bigger so I can hold more get-togethers there.

I would definitely recommend this place.

Great Thai place. I've been to this restaurant 4 times now and I've received great service and delicious food each time. It had consistent high quality everytime. It may be a bit small inside but that just makes it more cosy. The decorations and attire of the staff are much more than I get from the other NUMEROUS thai restaurants in SF as well. You won't be disappointed.

Truly A Find. The previous review is totally off base re: bad service. Restaurant food _is_ subject to sales tax, so not to tip is highly inappropriate. I've been to Chiang Mai many times and always had both excellent food and friendly service.
