Amazing restaurant. This restaurant is the best thai food in the city for me. The food is good, it's clean inside, and service is more then great. The server Tony is such a nice guy, always chats other people I bring and myself and remembers my order every time. He also brings the chili which I love so much. Tony is leaving soon(Jan 31st 2009) so everybody go say good-bye to him.
enjoyed it. I have been eating at Thai Cafe for the past 5 years and I have consistently found their food to be delicious! I usually have had moderate to GREaT service. It's my top pick for SF Thai Food.
i have room for dessert. Have always found the service efficient and the food satisfying. However, I've had a couple of disappointing experiences there recently. The first annoying experience was when we received abrupt curt service and when we asked for our bill the waiter walked off without saying anything. The next time we went there on a Saturday night and the place was somewhat full but not what I would call packed. There was only maybe one party waiting for a seat outside. We had saved room for dessert (fried bananas) and was very disappointed to find out that the restaurant had a policy of not serving dessert during what they considered "busy" times. This was so ridiculous that we vowed never to dine there again. Also, noticed other customers, a eight group party, trying to order dessert but where told the same thing. I still remember their expressions of shock
