Great neighborhood eatery. Ming River does not seem like a special restaurant, but the food and Uncle Bill make this one of the most comfortable places to eat your favorite Chinese food. You can choose from a variety of fresh vegetables, seafood and more. If you do not know what to order, just as Uncle Bill. He will make sure that you leave very full and satisfied.

A deal and then some!. If you're looking for good quality Chinese food at an affordable price, you can't go wrong at Ming River. What it lacks in atmosphere is made up ten-fold by Bill's great service and the food. As stated in the review by hkfuey, I've had everything she's listed and agree with her 100%. It beats anything you can find in Chinatown and the parking isn't too bad either.

say hi to bill the waiter. order the set menu for 4 and it can last you for days! favorites are blanched squid served with a soy chilli sauce, sticky rice stuffed chicken that needs to be ordered ahead of time and wide rice noodles with black beans, bell peppers and chicken...oh and this nice, bad for you fatty pork with stewed greens...almost as good as hong kong, but glad it's been "san franciscanized".
