Overpriced clothing with anti-consumer attitude. Inventory limited, as it's picked over by the saleswomen before they even put the rags on the racks! - prices are - $200 for an overblouse made of synthetic material purchased for less than l/4 the price is totally usurious. Staff is aloof -very unusual for a small boutique. Obviously their customer base is ignorant or desperate for clothing with elastic waistbands...If we women were really smart, we'd quickly boycott this establishment. Inventory limited..(sales staff also fabricate stories about how good you look and how many of the items they have themselves...sure!). I'm truly appalled that this owner is getting the business...So unfriendly to the point of wondering why are they working there and do they even care if you are attended to in any way...and selling laminated large buttons for $50.00...come-on, ladies!!!!!
Sophisticated feminine fashions for the older set in Presidio Heights..
This small, friendly boutique is filled with colorful silks, satins, knits and outerwear in draping, mature styles. Easy, relaxed fashions run from elegant special-occasion wear to casual clothing from 3Dot, with plenty of upscale choices in between. Flattering accessories include scarves and jewelry with upscale, dramatic flair, as well as a fine selection of jewelry boxes and other gifts.
Horrible Customer Service. Shopped here dozens of times because of the merchadise and am used to being ignored by the staff. Nice stuff but know that you may not feel welcome. The staff will fawn over some customers and will warm up to the lesser mortals if you buy something--okay if you don't like oversolicitious staff but I think Emily Lee prides itself on service which is humorous. Frankly, there are lots of places to buy Eileen Fisher so avoid Emily Lee if you prefer feeling like a valued customer.
