In Short
An old-fashioned commitment to quality and service pervades at this Presidio Heights neighborhood grocer. White-clad butchers bustle behind counters loaded with high-grade meats and sausages, poultry, wild and farm-fresh fish and prepared foods like a popular beef bourguignonne. Jars and tubs of house-made pasta sauces, salsas, dips, dressings and marinades color the walls, as well as a small selection of top-tier produce and imported, gourmet cheeses.

this place is not as expensive as cal mart, but it's also not as big as cal mart. while they have all your needs here at bryans, cal mart is much more bigger with fresher, yet more expensive prodcue as bakery. you want cheap prices, come here. you want more selections, go to bryans.

the few times I've been here was just out of convenience. They don't have a great selection, the prices are high and the service is not there. I've noticed quite a few moldy items in the bakery section--yuck! I've found it hard to get good customer service here too--it's just hard to find anything good here.

This neighborhood makrket has some of the very best vegetables, fruits, meat and seafood in the city. The upscale butchershop and grocery store is european in feel and is consistently exceptional in terms of quality and service. Truly a destination market PROS: quality, selection, service, atmosphere CONS: cost
