With some diligence and research, I could most likely confirm my suspicions that Citysearch has been bought out by some superpower more geared towards advertising than accuracy. But let’s be honest, I’ve already wasted too much time on this website. I hate the new look—it’s harder to navigate and more difficult to search. I hate the search function—the powers that be have completely mislabeled neighborhoods. I searched Hayes Valley and was presented with restaurants in the Mission. I searched the Mission and was given restaurants in SoMa. What info are you going off;: whoever paid the most for a top listing? I hate the Review Guidelines. They conduct both arbitrary and pointed acts of censorship. Why can’t I mention getting a hair in my food or use the word “nak3d” to describe the contents of art? I’m not pleased. But, oh well. It’s not a huge deal anyway. Citysearch is allowed to make changes... and so am I. Thank goodness for Yelp.
Pros: Features for searchability
Cons: accuracy of searches, prohibited words

OK, someone had to do it. Without Citysearch, I would be lost. I work in hotels and this site has saved me huge amounts of time not only in finding locations, but in research as well. The reviews are almost always very accurate and the area profiles are invaluable to anyone who wishes to find quick and reliable information. Minus half a point because they wouldn't allow me to use the "h" word as a description of someone working the "oldest profession"; I live in SF, sometimes colourful language is vital!
