This exchange has picked up approximately a dozen of my calls placed to my physician. I've felt offended by the operators at least four of those twelve times.
Their culture appears to be out of control. I thought perhaps it was one bad operator. But, I've had extraordinarily bad experience with at least three different people. The act prickly, sarcastic and extraordinarily disrespectful. They ask inappropriate questions. They can be astonishingly accusatory.
I am very surprised this business is still in operation. Unfortunately, it suggests its clients, the businesses and professions it serves don't have regard for their clients and patients.
BAD, Seek Elsewhere.... Unprofessionalism at its best. One rude agent is all it takes, unless this business knows how their business is being represented how will they know to fix this. In the service industry you must wear a smile on the phone at all times, a Parnassus agent was wearing a chip on his shoulder, hung up on me 2 times, refused to give his name in the process. It is a shame that he does not enjoy his job and does not want to represent this company with the respect that might be due. In this case one bad apple does spoil the whole bunch. There are many other respected and willing to help answering services that do not rush you or hang up on you or treat you in a rude manner. I would not recommend this company unless some training or retraining is done first. Seek elsewhere for the sake of your business reputation, first impressions are important.
Bad Attitude, Horrible Management you won't like to ruin your office image. BAD BAD BAD. Imagine a patient calling your office with a grave case and waiting for more than 10 min because the answering service does not care. When you ask for a supervisor you are in trouble it will get worst; the manager will call you stupid... I'm glad I was not a patient but as a member of the health system in SFO I need to let everybody know that Parnassus Heights Exchange is the worst company to answer your calls. Please do not ruin your office, department or hospital image with this a scary low professionalism and mediocre company. And if Martha answers you better hung up and try later.....
