Back in 1970 when the first Body Time store opened in Berkeley, CA, passers-by would stop to watch founders Peggy Short and Jane Saunders cut and package freshly made soaps, and gingerly pour and label bottles of lotions and oils. Now, three decades later, Manda Heron, Peggy's daughter and the company's current owner, runs Body Time with the same hands-on approach.

The Goods
The complete line of skin-care products offers everything you could possibly need to indulge your mind, body and soul. From Peppermint Foot Cream and Gotu Kola Eye Gel to Lemon Mint Toner and Lavender Tea Tree Spray-On Deodorant, the shelves are stocked with countless items to sooth and relax you from head to toe. Many of the creams, lotions, moisturizers, shampoos and conditioners are scentless and colorless--a bonus for those with allergies or sensitive skin--but can be scented with oils for a signature aroma all your own.
