From the traditional to the offbeat, a one-stop shop for things that are fun.. In Short
Since the early '80s, Gamescape has provided hard-core gamers with everything they require to lose themselves in play. Chess fans can choose from a basic magnetic traveling board or a carved set featuring "Alice in Wonderland" characters. There are tiny metal monsters and warrior figures to populate the role-playing games carried, high-end jigsaw puzzles that transform into games as they're completed, dart supplies, bingo sets, backgammon boards, tarot cards and more.

No Tech. Great selection.. My kids and I discover great games here, games that we all play or take with us on vacation or teach us stuff. The staff is supportive. The selection engaging. I hate to shop. But, I love Gamescape.

Great gaming shop. Great gaming shop in San Francisco! From Checkers to Warhammer 40K. This a great shop for the hobbiest. Wide range of paints and hobby supplies available. Staff was helpful and polite. Downside is the parking. Parking seems best on weekends.

First Timer. Excellent service and knowledge about games. Nice and relaxed, Harry Potterish sort of ambiance. It is great that these kind of stores still exist.

Mean Evil People. I wanted to buy a game. I called. They had the game, they held the game, I purchased the game. So far so good. Then I found out that I had paid twice the suggested retail price for said game & could purchase it at a competitor. However, Gamescape only offers store refunds. Since I will never set foot inside again, I chose not to go that route. Who marks things up to twice their value and then won't give you a refund?! Big meanies!
