This collectively owned anarchist bookstore is probably the most radical shop left on the Haight.. In Short
Since 1976, this collective has connected the city's anarchist and progressive communities. The popular storefront at the southern end of the Haight is packed to the rafters with independently produced books, fanzines and videos. The walls are covered with powerful vintage and contemporary posters and graphics, and t-shirts bearing such slogans as "Rent Is Theft" and (under a drawing of a bicycle) "One Less SUV in the Mission."
