Best Cornmeal crust and Veggie option at a price. They definately have the greatest crust and vegetarian options around but what they offer in product they lack in customer service. Once they called after an hour wait for the pizza and said they had ran out of toppings for the pizza, what they didnt notice that 10 minutes after we called and requested the pizza? Then the next time we called and ordered a pizza from them and they took our order and then after we gave our address they said they didnt have a delivery driver, so we called back and gave a different address and they magically had a delivery driver available. I mean cmon, just tell us you dont deliver to a certain area!

Great veggie or cheese pizza. Fresh veggies are what make this pizza so great! I can't say anything bad about the place, great price, great pizza, and its right around the corner from my house. Love having a pizza shop thats not the typical haight greesy mess!

YUMMY and OPEN for business!. I love the cornmeal crust, fresh vegetables and vegan soy cheese. The owner and workers are very friendly. My sole complaint is that they only have one delivery person so they can't serve all of San Francisco. When I moved out of the Haight, nary could I find a pizza as good as a Panhandle Pizza!

Note to the editor of this website: Panhandle Pizza is OPEN! They finished remodeling two months ago.

Best Cornmeal Crust, Take Out Only. This is the best cornmeal pizza in town. I had one bad experience, like one of the other reviewers, with a burnt pizza. But when I called to let the owner know, he sent a replacement pizza and freebies right over. Don't dine in. Try this place. It's fantastic.

Big Disappointment, Gone Downhill. This used to be one of my favorite pizza places in the city. Last night we ordered pizza delivery and it was just plain awful. The crust was BURNT to a crisp and tasted like cardboard. The pizza toppings (we orderd the BBA Chicken) was so-so. But it was a far cry from what this placed used to deliver. My wife and I were extremely disappointed.

S.F.'s best taste of exceptional pizza!```. I have been patronizing Panhandle Pizza Co. for the past three years and never once was I ever disappointed by thier pies. I have always delighted in returning knowing that my pizza hunger would soon be satisfied as it always is the best pizza around. The crust is beyond compare and the toppiongs are always of the highest quality, freshly prepared daily .The staff is always there to assist customers with a warm welcome and great service is the rule. Once you try this pizza there is no going back you will be glad you stopped in. By the pie or by the slice its defintely a place to remember the next time the pizza craving hits you I strongly sugguest you give it a try.

Steep downhill. Panhandle pizza use to be good for a quick slice between classes but it has really taken a dive. Stopped for a take out slice the other night and the pizza was horrible - I had to throw it out after a couple of bites. It looked like it had been sitting around for hours.

Love the Crust!. Their cornmeal crust is to die for. Easy pizza by the slice, or take home.
