A cheerful taqueria brings the Mission burrito to Haight Street..
In Short
This bright, colorful, bus-your-own joint is a neighborhood favorite, with a clientele ranging from young families to skate punks. Downstairs, the open kitchen clamors with busy cooks filling orders; upstairs, simple tables and hammered copper counters are available for eat-in diners.

Best Burrito In SF.
I love this place! Although often overshadowed by La Taqueria and Taqueria Cancun, this is one of the best burritos in the city. I'm addicted to the Chicken Mole burrito. Perfectly sweet yet has an extra kick to it. HIGHLY recommended.

Best Veggie Burritos!!.
I love El Balazo. Their vegetarian burrito is awesome with grilled vegetables and the napoli gives it the perfect touch. The carne asada is great, nice and moist and very fresh. Their chicken mole is awesome, and the portion is hearty. I love their rice and the frijoles have a wonderful flavor with a touch of garlic. If you want a good burrito with a fun atmosphere this is the place to go!

Great little mules.
Definitely one of my favorite burritos in the city, and I've eaten a whole lot of them. Can get pretty crowded, and its a little cold inside sometimes, but I go there for the great food, not the ambience so much. The people at the counter are nice enough.

This Buritto is da Bomb baby!!.
The fabulous little taqueria has the best buritto's in the city! I have never craved anything quite as much as their el pastor super buritto!!!!! The eclectic and very colorful decor of El Balazo overwhelms the eyes just as much as their food dances across your palette. This is a San Fran must if you really want to taste great mexican food.
