What the heck are you talking about my23cents????. You make comments that really show your intelligence.

Of course they charged what you approved on the visa,(food & tip). We're they suppose to remember that you put a small tip on your charge???And then change your charge reciept. Now that fraud. You must have been PLEASED with the FOOD & SERVICE if you left a large tip on the table, so what is your problem?? I have been to Squat & Gobble Cafe many times and have always gotten great service and food. In fact, if anything, they go beyond the call of most places for great service and food. So the next time you decide to through bad comments out, think about what you are saying.

YOU ROCK SQUAT & GOBBLE CAFE. Keep up the great work. : - )

WARNING: EAT AT OWN YOUR RISK. WARNING: EAT AT OWN YOUR RISK….. I paid with my Visa card and left a small tip, not knowing how the service was going to be. I later left a large cash tip on the table. I just checked my account and noticed that the restaurant changed the tip amount and total charge amount on my credit card. THIS IS FRAUD AND THEFT. If you have to eat here, use cash and watch your wallet.

Awesome crepes, huge portions. My friend and I stumbled in here to find someplace on Haight where we could relax and talk, and Squat and Gobble delivered, with the addition of warm, gooey, and gargantuan fruit crepes. Ever since that first experience, I always come back when I'm in the mood for a sweet treat. The mixed berry crepe is especially satisfying, but be prepared for a syrupy sugar overload. Later I tried the greek savory crepe, which served as a filling lunch full of cheesy goodness- this is truly an "american style" crepe place. Service here is prompt and the cafe itself is clean and somewhat busy, which is always a good sign.

Upper Haight outpost of popular eatery pleases diners all day and night with generous crepes, omelets, and salads.. In Short
Neighborhood locals catch up over breakfast, lunch, and dinner at sidewalk tables out front, while inside a brasserie feel dominates the light-filled space. Menus are written in bold, colorful letters on the massive chalkboards above the counter area. Lighter fare includes soups, salads and a selection of bagel sandwiches, while sweet and savory crepes, like the Sweet As Apple and the Chicken Divan, satisfy bigger appetites, as do hearty pastas.

Awesome Food. Went here for brunch/lunch on a recent trip from NYC with my former-San-Fran-resident hubby. Fabulous selection of food and beverages. I had the delicious veggie tofu crepes in peanut sauce and a scrumptious vanilla black tea. Hubby was equally satisfied with his meal. Great location for people watching. Friendly service. Would come back!

Strange name, but great food. The only problem I had with my dining experience was the man who took our order, who was quite rude and seemed annoyed. It's understandable because it was late and I imagine the staff at the upper haight location must deal with a ton of rude, annoying people and bums trying to rip them off. The food was really reasonably priced, and tasted great, but I was surprised that they only took cash. Which I imagine is because of the type of people that traffic that area. I would highly recommend trying this restaurant at any location.

Friendly staff, good food. The staff at Squat and Gobble remembers me from several years ago when I lived in the area. The food is good and prepared quickly for your Haight Street shopping convenience.

top 5 breakfasts. Nice outdoor seating at both the fillmore and haight locations. Just awesome omelettes and crepes. Good strong coffee. Lines can be a little long and it gets a little too hot inside, but its the sign of a good day starting when you eat here.
