Great for breakfast. Service is perfunctory but the breakfast food is great for the price. Usually a wait on the weekends but it's worth it.

get there early. i'm glad i woke early on sunday, otherwise i would have had to wait hours for a table. this very small, diner-type eatery was just what i needed to get my day started. the large menu offered many good choices, but i definitely recommend the "bird in a basket" special. so good that my boyfriend ditched his french toast to chow on my meal.

Great Little Spot. I'm not sure I'd wait more than 10-15 minutes to eat here, but the breakfast food is awesome and we found the service to be tip-top.

What are you waiting for?. I can never imagine why this place has a line. What ARE people waiting for? If they're waiting for good food, they're waiting in the wrong line! I had the eggs florentine. Was that CANNED spinach in there or just horribly overcooked spinach? The hollandaise was like tastless goo. Yucky.

Keep the pork coming!. This is a great overall place, the waitresses are very friendly and the food exceeded our expectations in every way. We both ordered the Pork Store Special which came with two huge pork chops, two eggs, hash browns, and toast; all for less than $9! We sat at the counter and watched as the cooks in a tempayaki style create our meal. The coffee was great; not strong, not burned but served quickly, and my cup was never empty. We arrived at 9:30am on a Sat and the place was packed! I would recommend going their early but its worth the wait.

Just what the doctor ordered.. It has been a favorite of mine for years especially after a late night. The atmosphere has a postive vibe that reminds me of a happy small town diner in the 50's movies but in present day. The coffee keeps coming along with nice portions of great food. I almost always get the Scralifornia and do my best to finish it. Sometimes the lines can be long and I try to plan accordingly.

Huge portions but hate the wait!. Ordered the Pork Store Special and didn't realize how huge the portions are! Good hot coffee, friendly staff and sat at the counter watching the food being prepared. Setbacks are bad parking and too few table(s). Be prepared for the wait!

EXCELLENT ambience, food, service and people!. I really enjoyed coming here. This place is not the place for group breakfasts but the food is cooked right in front of you if you're sitting at the bar. The servers are great and a lot of the local people come to this hot spot. There is a line at the door but it moves fairly quickly. Your typical breakfast - but don't forget to check out the specials hanging from the banister on the 2nd story!

Great till the last bit. its the best place in the city to eat a great meal. Good price for the amount of food that you get. The wait is worth it!!!
