embarrassed and humiliated by rude service. We go there a lot. Today, while my fiancee was parking, I walked in. Employee wanted me to stand out in cold although no one else was waiting. 2 people got up and left. table was cleaned and set up. I sat down. 2 people came in and the employee told me to get up cause my other person wasn't there yet. I asked if she was joking and she said no. I felt embarrassed and humiliated and left. I will not return. We went to Flippers.…
typical greasy spoon. great when you've got a hangover and your wallet is feeling light! happily you can also find items on menu suitable for healthier diets!
Best Breakfast. This spot is still my favorite breakfast spot. I love everything I have ever ordered. It is hearty, tasty and fast service. My old standard is the eggs and pork chops. So GOOD!
Great place for Breakfast- Service fun and nice crowd. Great food and atmosphere. Pork Chops for Breakfast with Grits are a great way to recover from the night before. Some seating outside which is good if you have dogs. Bloody Mary's are good value.
This place is one of the BEST!. I have been to the Haight Ashbury three times and each time, I return to the Pork Store for breakfast and I have yet to be disappointed. This must be the way a diner was during the days of my parents and others before me. I will admit that I do not get adventurous when it comes to the menu; bacon & eggs with hash browns are my typical fare (and the serings are large and healthy, from a male stand point anyway) but I LOVE this place! The price is affordavle and there are some who say the service might be lacking but when you have wall to wall people with a line out the door, it is hard to be overly cordial. Just the same, when I've been there, the girls have always taken the time to stop and chat (even if briefly). If you are able to make it to the Haight early (as in by 7 AM), you'll be able to have a more leisurely experience but whatever you do .... try and make the effort to stop by. I truly feel you won't be sorry!…
