The Scene – The 49ers used to play at Kezar Stadium across the street, but the Kezar Pub (which still bills itself as "the home of the 49ers") doesn't play favorites during football season. Fifteen televisions and four satellites bring you ESPN2, Game Day and every single NFL game. They also show rugby, soccer and even Gaelic football (feverish fans of which will be happy to explain the rules and provide running commentary). Pool tables and dartboards offer halftime amusement. – – The Draw – A full menu of typical bar grub (chicken wings, onion rings) and draft beers…

Everyone is very respectful.

I frequent this place often. Its primarily a neighborhood bar but the food is excellent too, specially their sandwiches and burgers.

If you do check this place out, you wont be disappointed. One thing to keep in mind is that since this is mainly a bar they don't always have a server working so if you do come for food and the bartender is busy be prepared to order your food at the bar. Aside from the food, its a great place to hang out and catch a couple drinks too.

The clientele is a great mix of younger and older people. I've never had any problems with anyone at this place. Everyone is very respectful.

Quality pub for Football (Not throwball) :)

by Kenzos at Citysearch

Great pub to watch all sports, I go to watch the football and it's great. Bar staff are cool, people who watch sports are generally nice people.

Need to get better tea bags though!! (Lipton just doesn't cut it!)

  • Pros: Number of plasma's

Good sport

by EditorSF at Citysearch

Kezar gets it done. There are about a billion flatscreens and they get sports feeds from all over the world. The food is kind of blah but it's just for soaking up booze anyway. I love how packs of USF girls always drop in--it really alleviates the over-testosteroned atmosphere. Love watching the warriors here.

  • Pros: Great sports crowd--no meatheads
  • Cons: No free beer?

Decent Food and Drink, Lot's of TVs

by helloworldsf at Citysearch

I live in the area and occasionally drop in here for brew and a game. The food is basic, but a bit above average for bar standards, at least from what I have experienced and not terribly priced. It can get crowded here, but the energy is usually good and the pool tables are a plus. And yes, this is not the one on Cole and Carl.
