For those craving authentic Thai cuisine, this friendly corner eatery really hits the spot. Inside, the two-tiered space is crisp and white, but on the table, color explodes in an array of rainbow-hued dishes. Appetizers range from sweet, crispy Mee Krob noodles to the tasty Bangkok Fresh Roll-- a sweet-and-sour rice paper stuffed with tofu and cucumber and topped with chilled shrimp and crab. The large selection of affordable Thai entrees (including classics like pad thai and chef recommendations like kaeng keaw wan--a spicy green curry with vegetables) will keep even the pickiest eaters…
Best Thai Food in San Francisco

We just had lunch at Bangkok 900 and the food was even better than I remembered. All of the food was perfectly spiced and with such a delicate flavor, nothing heavy handed or greasy like other thai places. The chicken in the Yellow Curry was extremely tender and moist and the potatoes cooked to perfection. Other dishes we had included the pork with eggplant, Pad Woon Sen, and calamari with pepper and garlic (the sauce was excellent. Try this restaurant, you won't be sorry!
- Pros: The food is fresh and delicious what more can you ask for!

Went to Bangkok 900 based on the first review here. Apparently the reviewer works for or is affiliated with the restaurant, as the food was below average, nowhere near "the BEST Thai". In fact when I pointed out the restaurant to my son that has worked nearby (on Haight) for almost a year, he said that he had never heard anything positive about the restaurant. Keep searching.
- Pros: Waiter responsive
- Cons: Below average in almost every way
Best Thai food in the City!
by davewaldorf
This is BY FAR the best place for Thai in this thai-blessed town. Amazing seafood dishes, surpurb vegitarian dishes and just the right amount of spice! Completely reasonable prices for the quality. Definitely try the Tofu-Satay, the Curries, the Makuer Karprow (Thai Eggplant), the Goong Prig Khing (Prawn and Green Beans), or the Pad Spinach (oh man.. i'm drooling thinking about it). A word of advice, it's better to eat in than to have it delivered (even though it's free delivery) - Thai food just doesn't do good in styrofoam... but then again, what does?
- Pros: Great Service, Consistantly good, Fresh ingrediants
