In Short – This comfort spot caters to a weekend hangover crowd. Given the large portions and menu items ranging from takeout pizza to crepes and mimosas, diners have a wide array of options for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The funky decor, highlighted by faded pastels and exposed pipes, lends to the hippie Haight Street vibe. Tofu, veggie and vegan options are always available for low prices, and the restaurant is open all day, every day.
Canned tomatoes! In California?!?

I visited All You Knead on Sunday for dinner and was extremely disappointed with the veggie burrito. There were no vegetables, not even onions, in the burrito. It was not a 'veggie' burrito but a rice and beans burrito, and the tomatoes that were inside were most obviously canned. Very disappointing for the average bay area consumer who is accustomed to a certain caliber of restaurants.
However, the tortilla was toasted really nicely and the salad, herbal vinaigrette and guacamole that came with the burrito were all really good -- gave me something else to eat! My friend seemed satisfied with his cheesy egg and potato scramble, but I would not come back for a burrito; I'd go down the street to Taqueria El Balazo!
Tasty food, at a classic neighborhood spot..full of Haight Ashbury vibe.

I have been getting the veggie burrito here for over a decade. It is HUGE, and you get a big salad that is super tasty along with it. You get more than your $$ worth. It is a casual neighborhood staple stop for breakfast all day and/or lunch, dinner, dessert or to just grab a few beers AND have a conversation. I love that it has stayed the same, even though I have changed! ;)
Will not come back to eat here...

The food is good but the service is lousy, and it's gotten worse. I've been going here for the past 2 years and my last visit was the last straw. They are very short staffed to the point where they would have only 1 waitress on weekdays and 2 on weekends.
The last time, my table had to wait about an hour and 15 minutes for our meal (2 of the entrees were a bowl of soup!). After an hour and 15 minutes, our waitress comes around asking if we wanted our check! After she learned that we had never gotten our meal (including a simple coffee), it turns out that our order was skipped. Ridiculous. Right when we were about to get up and leave, finally, our food came.
The past few times I've gone to All You Knead, I've been really patient. However, this was the worst and I will not be coming back.
- Pros: Usually fast seating. Food comes hot.
- Cons: Very slow service, little uncomfortable having gnats hanging out on the wall.
