In Short – A wall of rare picture-sleeve singles, from early Bill Haley & the Comets EPs to indie rock and post-punk titles, welcomes music fiends into this homey store. A large and well-organized rock section and a strong collection of jazz and soundtracks are the main draw, while small but interesting selections of exotica, reggae, children's music, pop, country and international music are also available. A smattering of books, posters and vintage magazines rounds out the mix.

at least check this place out before heading to AMOEBA... the selection maybe less extensive (though comprehensive is probably more accurate) - but the staff is just as much if not more knowledgeable than those EMO & INDIE wannabees toiling away in that old bowling alley (even though it's where I had my first date almost twenty years ago -omigod I'm old!) and you may just get a "classic" zinger / comment out of the manager (whose name I'll not reveal to protect the innocent)
The Details on Recycled Records
Know Before You Go:
Hard-core collectors should be sure to request a look at the rare punk 45s box, usually stored on or behind the counter.
The Extras:
There's a lot of ultra-rare vinyl on display, from Nino Rota's score of "Juliet of The Spirits" to Francesco Lavangino's "The Lost Continent" soundtrack.
