At this NoPa staple, coffee, though good, takes a backseat to the super cheap microbrews and a laid-back neighborhood atmosphere.. In addition to all the best amenities of a San Francisco cafe--huge selections of coffee, a free wireless Internet connection, hipster baristas, and outdoor seating--there are better reasons to hit Bean Bag Coffee House. Exhibit A: locally brewed pints of beer for $1.90 after 3 p.m., when the crowds steadily file through the doors until well after dinner, which begins at 5 p.m. nightly. If cheap beer doesn't whet your appetite, the food will. Though known for their crepes, which fetch between $5.25 and $8.95, the cafe also serves breakfast items like omelets, pancakes, and scrambles as well as delicious pasta dishes and a fish of the day for dinner.
HUGE Menu for a small coffee shop!. I love Bean Bag Cafe - They make awesome food, and the selection is huge for such a small coffee shop. Cafe Abir up the street is 4 times the size and I don't think you can even get a sandwich there. I live in the area and often grab dinner here on my way home. You can sit outside, which I love, and the service is great.
Good coffee. I got coffee here and it was pretty good. You get free internet service here so its great to just relax here. It has a nice outdoor sitting area but I didn't like the buses going by so often. The people are nice and the menu is extensive with good breakfast items to make the morning start easier.
Coffee, scones, and boys- so fresh. This place is my second home! The staff are friendly, the sandwiches are good I like the North Beach and the blackberry scones are off the hook. and after the 3 pm the beers are $1.29~
Good Coffee Shop. Good breakfast and lunch food. Friendly staff. Reasonable prices. Sunny enclosed seating area in front. Good for a quick bite or coffee with a friend.
Wonderful cafe. The staff is so sweet to everyone, the food is yummy and the coffee rocks. They're always trying something new for the neighborhood people. They even piped in the soccer games for those without cable last month. I love this place!
