Best Potstickers Ever! Oh, and the wonton soup is excellent. Try the spicy condiments on the table. Mix the brown sauce into their chunky concoction for a tasty compliment to the expertly prepared stickers and soup.

The wait staff, though not warm and friendly, were attentive.

You'll find convenient street parking.

Enjoy!

Improved Service, OK Food. I think the owners must read the reviews, because the service we received was much higher than we expected. They offered to make wontons without the shrimp for one of us and we were surprised they would even attempt to make the adjustment. The curry potstickers were fantastic, but wanton soup was just OK.....the broth just didn't taste good. Definitely a good value.

great cheap eat, if you don't mind the service. My boyfriend and I used to come here constantly, swearing by the wonton soup - $4 for a nice big bowl! We've sort of stopped visiting, though, for two reasons: the service was starting to be a drag (you'd think with us showing up twice a week, they'd show *some* sign of familiarity or friendliness), and we suspect they're using MSG in the broth. It's tasty, but we always feel a pretty blah an hour later. But if you're ever stuck in Outer Sunset and craving Chinese comfort food, stop by 23rd and Vicente. Can't beat a bowlful of fat wontons for less than the cost of a burrito.

Servicewomen is not nice.. Talking about Wonton soup: This small restaurant provides one-of-a-kind wonton soup that you wanna come back again. I don't know how they make the soup but I feel like I'm addicted to it. However, there's a problem with those servicewomen. Their faces don't show their acknowledgement to their customers. They never smile or greet customers when they enter the restaurant. Also, one time, when a particular customer, who just likes the spicy turnip so much, asked for more of that stuff, these waitresses replied rudely that "It's not appetiser!" Uh oh! I don't know how much it costs to make that spicy stuff and how many people like it other than that customer, but the way they treat their customers is not polite or respectful at all. As far as I know, the customer never comes back to this place anymore.

What a joke!

Love the place. THe wonton soup is the best I've had in the City. It's served hot, with plenty of won tons. The Duck won ton soup is the best. The atmosphere is plain and drab, but that is what I expect from a restaurant that serves good, quick, down home (albeit Asian down home), comfort food.

WHAT a find!. Service might be erratic, and they don't serve soft drinks (huh?), but what a great little place. $4 gets you a bowl of piping HOT wonton-rich soup and $4.50 gets you a plate of yummy potstickers... a great quick alternative to dim sum on a sunday afternoon. YUM! definitely give it a try, especially on a cold weekend afternoon... a much better bowl of wonton soup than the ones you'll get on Clement/Geary for $3 more. There must have been at least 10-12 wontons in my soup!

enjoy!!!

Just Won-Tonderful!. I love this place. It is a custom and ritual of mine that whenever I travel up north to San Francisco, I have to stop off here and eat. The Tomato Beef Chow Mein is a real good dish here (aside from the won tons obviously). The owner Howard is really nice and friendly. I don't know what was with the other people who posted the really bad review. They must have forgotten to shower or brush their teeth or something.
