No frills neighborhood small business. This is not the kind of place to buy fancy upscale Thermador, Sub-Zero, Wolf or Viking large appliances. It's a small business/mom and pop place with scaled back help. Abe, is going to retire this year and since there are no spawns who are interested in taking over the business, he plans to sell it. We purchased a Whirlpool dryer from ABC years ago & returned to purchase a front load energy efficient Whirlpool Duet washer. Consumer Reports rated this washer above the middle of the pack with excellent cleaning but not as gentle on the clothes compared to the Bosch (at Lowe's) we were considering. Abe's price was well below everyone else's for the same machine - even Costco. We made it in time for the utilities and water rebate last year which adds to more savings if/when we get our rebate in the mail, and Abe's assistant helped us process all the paperwork and mailed it in for us! The total cost for the washer was under $500, and this machine is so much quieter than our old model (GE) and energy/water efficient (you have to buy the special "He" detergents which costs more 'tho). Do your research and visit other large stores to see what's out there to get an idea as to what you're looking for and read Consumer Report's comparisons. ABC has a limited selection where most of their washers are run of the mill Magtag & Whirlpools, not expensive brands like Bosch. But, our washer lives in the garage, so who needs a fancy washer where no one can see it? As a previous reviewer noted, a very young, inexperienced 20's crowd of 3-4 young men delivered the washer and adjusted it to fit our uneven garage floor. Only one of them seemed old enough to know what he was doing & did the actual adjustments.
