For imported meats and cheeses, artisan pasta or a giant sandwich, stop by this popular Parkside deli..
This deli on Taraval Street is a neighborhood favorite, slicing and dicing imported meats and cheeses for customers that are lined up out the door. The black-and-white checkered floors and green plaid drapes give the ambience of an old Italian café. This popular lunch spot caters to swarms of people, serving up a sandwich menu that includes Guerra's creations like the Roma (turkey, pesto and mozzarella) or the Sicilian (salami, coppa and pepperoncini). As far as groceries go, the shop has an enormous selection of Italian staples, from to-go pasta dishes to spicy tapenades. Proteins include New York strip, Dungeness crab, tuna steaks, pork tenderloin and much more. There are also nine different types of sausages, thirteen Italian salads and an array of fresh produce.

BEST DELI IN WESTERN SAN FRANCISCO.
I don't know what lexipac is talking about, these guys are the nicest people around. The biggest part of a business is in its people and the care they give to their customers. I know firsthand the Guerra brothers are more than generous. Maybe you had a bad day or they did, how was the deli? Isn't that the point here? Please leave those one sided "reviews" to yelp. I suggest trying them again.
I always have the Tosca sandwich delicious salami, mouthwatering portions. Garlic sauteed mushrooms. Italian sodas. Just tasty food, thats it.

Wouldn't they be accustomed to a little diversity by now?.
Frankly, I'm shocked at why this place has such good reviews. Honestly, last time I went there, there were probably 5 people around; and even though I was next in line, they managed to squeeze in 2 other people ahead of me, before looking around and since there was absolutely noone at the store anymore, they HAD to serve me. Like they were being forced to. As if my money isn't good enough.
One would have thought that since this is San Francisco, they would be accustomed to a little diversity by now. I guess not.
