Pasquale's Rocks – Best in the West!
Being a Chicago transplant to Reno, Nv. I am always craving a good pizza. That is not attianable anywhere in the Reno area.
On a trip to SF last Oct., I stumbled upon Pasquale's. The smell wafting from it ovens drew me in. It smelled like Chicago.
Service was EXCELENT! The staff was friendly and the wait wasn't unbearable. The cold beer made thw wait more enjoyable.
The first bite of the PIE almost brought a tear to my eye. It was the BEST PIE I have ever tasted outside of Chicago. It was actually better than many Chicago places which I used to haunt.
Deplorable – My review is almost identical to njsf05's review. Women on the phone was very unenthusiastic and hard to understand. She also did not give me price or how long it would take for the pizza to be done. Upon arrival the sign is not lit and i seriously could have drove right past it without knowing it was there. Definitely not a place to take the family as the dining area is small and uninviting. We were also charged about 4 dollars more than the menu online had stated.
The pizza is well, disappointing The crust is hand rolled and spun and very flavorless the produce was also not very fresh and flavorless. Definitely not worth dealng with the DEPLORABLE customer service.
Horrible Service – We called in an order for a large pizza with three toppings, which was listed as $18.75 on the menu. We asked the woman who answered if we could do half and half with the toppings, and she said yes, took the order, and then hung up without asking for a name, giving us a total, or a time that it would be ready. When we showed up they handed us the pizza and charged us $26.00. I started to ask why it was more, and before I could finish my sentence, the owner shoved a menu in my face and started yelling about how we ordered 6 toppings. They were just incredibly rude all around...definitely will not return.
Editorial Review – Tiny pizza restaurant serves normal and thin-crust pizzas covered in generous amounts of fresh meats and vegetables.
