The next time you want to watch a sporting event in a casual, but uncrowded atmosphere, I recommend Thai Stick. There's plenty of couch seating, lots of wide screen TVs, a variety of beer on tap, and fried nibbles for snacking.
Rude staff. the food is great, but the staff is edgy. I was eating at the bar when I saw an elderly man head for the bathroom. The bartender yelled at him saying that the restroom was only for customers. He screamed back, " I just finished dinner" She shut her mouth and then he proceeded to the restroom.
Editorial Review by Citysearch Editors. Pacific Heights Thai restaurant offers curries, pan-fried noodle dishes, soups, salads and more traditional dishes.
YUCK. This place really bad, can't believe they are still in business... I got Pad Thai which is of course the most common thai dish around and it was really bad, no flavor and the noodles were like rubber. Too many other awesome thai spots in SF to give this place another chance. Sorry.
Great food. The tofu dish was good, spicy and sweet tamarine sauce. nice environment and cool music. they have full bar and cool music i had a lot of fun.
A MUST IN FILLMORE. I've been there so many times. I love this place. Atmopshere is great. Service has always been good and friendly. Thai Stick is a great place for lunch and dinner. Regular menu is full of variety or you can get good deals on lunch and dinner special combo, you'll get a good amount of soup..egg rolls...and food for a very reasonable price. Overall the food is delicious, and I've tried many Thai restaurant in the city. I would recommened this place.
Great Thai Restaruant. I am a regular customer at Thai Stick and love the service. Food is outstandly delicious. Service at Thai Stick is one of the best, all thier employees always have a friendly attitude and a smiling with a warm welcome.
DELICIOUS!. i went herefor the first time the other night and was very pleasantly surprised. From the outside, the restaurant almost seems like a fast food Thai place, but I was proven wrong once I walked inside. The menu has everything--curries ranging from mild to hot, chicken, seafood, beef dishes. Try the chicken satay appetizer--the peanut sauce is to die for! Service was excellent, food was even better, and it the price was excellent! Definitely coming back!
Very Very Attentive Staff. The food here is good and the waitresses are friendly and very attentive (Sometimes too attentive. If it's not busy they'll watch you from the doorway and as soon as you put your fork down they run out and ask to take your plate. This has happened more than once.) However, it seems most of the waitstaff may be staright from Thailand because communicating can get difficult. Luckily, everything on the menu is numbered. The restaurant is also always very clean and I have never had to wait for a table.
