In Short
Large plate-glass windows at the entrance give this small pub a fish bowl-like quality. The aqua walls are also adorned accordingly--mermaids, surfboards and seashells. The crowd consists of Pac Heights' 20- and 30-somethings meeting for a few drinks. It's typically friendly and laid-back at happy hour, and crowded and loud on weekend nights. Crowd-pleasers like Al Green and the Stones fill the jukebox.

I love the Fish Bowl, it is by far the best local watering hole in the city...I know that's a bold statement, but they have great music, friendly and attentive bartenders, drinks specials every night, great partons and an atmosphere that guarentees a good time! It can get a little crowded on weekends past 11, but that's because this is a kickass place to be!

This is an awesome locals bar that has a chill atmosphere and amazing people. The service is super duper with fun bartenders. Its not a sports bar, but it's awesome watching sportscenter there with the boys. I love hanging out at this bar and shooting the s%&* with the bartenders. Recommended 110%!

Things I've seen at Fishbowl: -A guy in green pants belligerent and drunk picking a fist fight... with a girl. -A bartender head thrashing to Weezer's Say It Ain't So, which is so loud, half the bar had to leave. -Sad, hollow shells of women standing precariously on the bar in sky high heels, skin and flesh leaking out everywhere, pouring liquor into guy's mouths hoping for a little validation. This place reeks of desperation, sadness, and people with too much money. It is a horrible place. It's simply too crowded. You cannot move at all. The music is too loud. Yelling at full volume you cannot be heard. And there's so many rich pompous losers here, it makes me happy to go back to my poor digs and my job lifting boxes.
