Their lack of integrity kaes me question their honesty, don'. I wanted to give a local business $ and what I got in return was a lack of integrity. I wanted wider tires on my 74 Ford Maverick and asked if they were available with whitewall. Fred said not in the size that I wanted. I saw a few cars rolling around with whitewalls and they looked similar to the size I just got. I went back to Noe Valley Auto works to ask about them. After making me wait for 10 minutes without acknowledging that I was there, he said he'd be with me in a quick sec.and that turned out to be another 5 minutes Finally.Fred asked how my tires were and I said they were good, but "you said they weren't available in whitewall but I've seen saw some cars driving around with them. He said "oh, those are like $500.00 each, here I'll show you". As he's looking them up on the internet he then say's "Oh, those are like $200 each." They ended up being $139.00 each and I said you told me this wasn't an option. He said, "oh yeh, I can't order these for my shop". I said, " I wish you would have told me that, I would have ordered them from somewhere else". Well, I guess that was the problem and so instead of being honest with me and risk losing $, he just lied to me instead. They suck!!

STAY AWAY!. I used to recommend this place to everyone. However, now after feeling completely taken I will tell everyone to stay away! I needed a brake job on my mini. I already knew from the dealership that I needed front and back brake pads and front roters. The dealership quoted me a high price. It actually turned out to be less than what Noe auto works ended up costing me! I called Noe Valley Auto works, told them exactly what I needed. I got a quote of $475 total for everything.

THey said even if they had to replace the rear roters, it wouldn't be over $475. Sounded great! $500 less than the dealership. Then, I get the call to come get the car.....and only the front was done and they were asking me if I wanted the rear brake pads worked on as well? What the hell? I had already told them to do the front and rear and the front roters. Oh, but the price quoted above now only covers the front job. The back will be an extra $475. I discussed this with Pablo who had given me the quote last week. At first, he said he was not the person I talked to about the quote, then suddenly he remembered he was and he never told me the brake job would only cost $475. To make a long story short, I told them to stop working on my car. I am going somewhere else for the rear pads. I have since read other reviews about this place and have found similar experiences. DO NOT GO HERE!
