If you like Barnes & Noble's range, but would rather patronize an independent business, Books Inc. is for you. It boasts a solid general-interest collection, with strong holdings in fiction, travel (including local trail maps), health, fine art and design, spirituality, science-fiction and gay and lesbian literature and non-fiction. Near the front counter, choose from quality hardcover remainders ($2 to $8) or the finalists from the most recent Lambda Literary Awards.

great selection - great prices. All I have to say is that I would reccomend this bookstore to anyone, if you need a book of any kind and you r in the Castro go here (not a different light)!
