Flaming Mac and cheese. It was my first time every in SF or as they call it the City. Me and a couple of friends were walking trying to find a cool place to eat. Well we came across Blue and we read the menu that was outside. Now at first it didn't sound too hot so we passed it up..but something kept telling me to go back. so we did and the service was great and so was the food. I ordered the flaming Mac with grilled chicken and i have to say it was very good. even though i had to add extra hot sauce i like things to be very spicy. next time i am visiting the city i will be back there.

Truly Tasty Food. Ever have that restaurant that makes your mouth water every time you think of it? Well, mine is Blue. The food is ridiculously tasty. The calamari is made with a special spicy sauce that makes you feel like a pig because you just cant stop devouring it. When I know I'm in the mood for delicious, tasty, orgasm-inspired, and inducing meals, I go to Blue. Eat there!

Great Custome Service. What a treat to have such wonderful people in the world. On the evening of Dine for Life '07 (which by the way Blue counts Drinks & Food) my party was not able to meet up with our friend. We had no way of contacting her (she had no cell) so I called the restaurant with the weird request of finding her (on a crazy busy night). The host not only found her but also put her on the phone so we could discuss the family emergency. Never seeming, inconvenienced, put out or bothered!

It is thoughtfulness like this that makes me think we are all in this together.

Coincidently, or not, I ate there the following night and our server had taken that call! He is amazing, personable and gorgeous! :( Totally forgot his name. I will post that later.

Comfort food gets a contemporary twist at this reasonably priced Castro bistro.. In Short
This eatery's prime location and quirky, inexpensive American fare have made it a popular destination. With black-and-chrome furnishings, faux-concrete walls and exposed fixtures, the space evokes an urban warehouse space. The menu offers traditional diner fare with experimental touches, like green salad dressed with a pesto-like vinaigrette, spicy two-beer chili, or chicken potpie held together with a heavy, cheesy bechamel instead of a traditional stew-like sauce.

OK for comfort food. My friends love this place, but I prefer Home for comfort food. The food was good and the service was fine, but I didn't think it was anything special. Good for a weeknight dinner if Home is too crowded.
