THEY HAVE GREAT FAST FOOD.
i like them food. its OK, its nice, its very fast and go.
the food is really fine, i will not say is the best, no i eat better mexican food, but in the castro, is a great place!
Excellent burritos. Sorry I^d like to know where to buy an electric grill like yours to warm my burrito tortillas, or if you can tell me the brand of the electric grill, since now too much tanks.
Editorial Review. Conveniently located in the Castro, this cheap Mexican spot serves large portions of traditional taqueria food made to order.
mouth watering burrito's. their tacosurritos are the best that i have ever had..nothing beats them ..the people who work there always have a smile on their faces and look cheerful..the place is mostly crowded ..but the quality that you get for your money is worth it..all the items are reasonably charged too..
Best vegetarian burritos anywhere in San Francisco. I've been going to this place for years. They're fast, courteous, and the prices are very reasonable. It's a bit frightening for first-time visitors (very noisy and you have to shout out your order and go through an question-and-answer process for specifying mild or hot salsa, black or refried beans, etc) but the workers are so cheerful and good-natured that you'll feel right at home. I get the regular vegetarian burrito, which is so mouth-watering that I'm salivating right now over my keyboard as I type these words. Limited seating, so either get your food to go or visit during off-peak hours. If there's a long line, don't worry... it moves swiftly.
My favorite taqueria in the city!.
Zapata has always been a great place to go for a "monster burrito" for lunch or after a night out, offering authentic Mexican for a reasonable price while still catering to individual tastes. They have all the standard taco/burrito combo plates along with a good selection of salads and grilled-to-order options. The spicy prawns are my favorite. The restaurant is also much better kept than most taquerias I've seen, perhaps because it's family owned and operated.
Jorge (manager/owner) has also been trying out new recipes lately and I like that you can get a restaurant quality meal with a drink (marinated grilled halibut with salsa, rice, veg and a beer) for less than $17.
They do get busy and the dining area can be a little loud but it's always a friendly environment, the line moves fast, and they bring plates out to your table right away. Great place to bring kids or big groups.
tasty mexican in the castro.
check this place out if you're @ upper market / castro 'hoods.
i've only eaten there once (so far!) but will definitely be back soon. it's a great cozy corner location with windows all around (great people watching right off castro :) and tasty food.
clean tables (even during their lunch hour) quick service and an extensive menu ~
don't be intimidated if you see a line out the door. it moves quickly.
