37.768772 -122.429255good food at a decent price. The staff is friendly and the food is filing and consistent. I like coming here every now and then for lunch.
best taqueria outside of the mission. el castillito serves some of the best burritos in SF. the guys there are always friendly and prices are affordable.
Editorial Review by Patrick Heig. You'd never know that this unassuming taqueria serves some of the best burritos in the city if it weren't for the never-ending line.
Used to be better!. I have been going to El Castillito for years. They've always made one of my favorite burritos, and the Quesadilla el Castillito (#19) is very good! This definitely earns them a "Recommended". However, recently I've noticed a slight decline in the quality of the food and I haven't been as amazed with the flavors as I used to be. Couple this with their recent raise in prices, and I sometimes find myself going elsewhere.
Best Burrito so far. I'm not particularly a big burrito fan, but I went there anyways since my friends all say they have the best burrito. I've had a regular burrito with chicken, and it was sublime. They grill the meat when ordered in front of you, so the burrito is never cold. Price is very affordable, and they have lots of bottled sodas, too. Chips are not as good. I've never tried anything else, but will probably stick with chicken burrito for a while. Recommended!
Best Burritos in SF. This is an excellent burrito joint. Like many, they let you choose what goes into the burrito and offer a wide variety of fresh ingredients. The price is good and the portions are huge. Try the wet burrito, it's somothered with a green chili sauce and cheese and is more than I can eat in a single sitting. Fast and friendly service. Open late, even on sundays.
Castillito es el Rey. If you are looking for burritos to go and quick and friendly service, just go here. I highly recommend the grilled chicken but the veggie is good. I'm sure the beef or steak are good too, but I don't eat red meat. The portions are kinda large in fact my girlfriend and I can split one entire regular burrito. Very much worth the effort to get to! If you want a more eat-in atmosphere, the 18th and Noe Castillito is a better choice.
simply the best. This place has without a doubt the best burritos of San Francisco. I got several of my friends hooked on their food too. I don't live too close to Church but getting my burrito there is always worth the drive.
