good food at a decent price. The staff is friendly and the food is filing and consistent. I like coming here every now and then for lunch.
best taqueria outside of the mission. el castillito serves some of the best burritos in SF. the guys there are always friendly and prices are affordable.

Used to be better!. I have been going to El Castillito for years. They've always made one of my favorite burritos, and the Quesadilla el Castillito (#19) is very good! This definitely earns them a "Recommended". However, recently I've noticed a slight decline in the quality of the food and I haven't been as amazed with the flavors as I used to be. Best Burrito so far. I'm not particularly a big burrito fan, but I went there anyways since my friends all say they have the best burrito. I've had a regular burrito with chicken, and it was sublime. They grill the meat when ordered in front of you, so the burrito is never cold. Price is very affordable, and they have lots of bottled sodas, too. Chips are not as good.
