Mmm, cookies!. As far as calling Hot Cookie a bakery, I'd have to say that's a bit of a stretch - it's really just a storefront, sort of a younger, borderline lewd Mrs. Field's, but way more fresh and tasty. I was in San Francisco for just five days, and I must have dragged my girlfriend back here every day we were there, buying more and more cookies each time. I'm only sad that I discovered the snickerdoodles the day before I left. The place is kind of overpriced, to be honest, but it all depends on how much of a cookie monster you are.

Sugar cravings meet their match at this Castro cookie shop famous for its tempting, often naughty creations.. In Short
Filled with the aromas of the buttery, golden confections made here daily, this tiny bakeshop offers just enough room for three patrons to huddle over a small glass counter lined with cookies, brownies, Rice Krispy squares and dessert bars. In keeping with the neighborhood's cheeky attitude, house specialties include chocolate-covered penis and breast-shaped edibles. Displayed on the wall above the counter, men's bright red briefs carrying the store's name make conversation-worthy souvenirs.

Can't walk by and not go in!. Everytime my husband I pass HotCookie we cannot simply walk on by. The double chocolate fudge cookies are scrumptious as well as the snickerdoodles. The service is great to boot! Plus, they are open late so it's the perfect dessert on the go place!
