If Osh Kosh has turned into "oh my gosh" because your toddler no longer has room to breathe in his overalls, head to this helpful consignment shop. Receive store credit for the goods your little one already out grew, then outfit him in Old Navy and Baby Gap for half-price. If you are looking for unused items, Peek-a-Bootique sells new clothes for infants through 10 year olds.

The staff and management is helpful, responsive to suggestions and have a terrific attitude about work. It is rare to enter a retail establishment and be treated as though you are important as a customer........here they know how to win your business and keep it!
- Pros: Helpful and outgoing workers
- Cons: pricey on new items
Great prices for 2nd hand clothes, and funky new clothes you won't find in BabyGap or Gymboree

Peek-a-Bootique has come a long way in the past 6 months. They have new owners, who have spent a lot of time and money renovating and bringing in much better merchandise than before. Now if you're like me, you're waiting for the pin to drop -- that all that renovating would mean higher prices. But somehow they avoided that. It's still a great place to find a bargain or three, but now they also carry some unusual baby clothes from San Francisco designers. That's going to appeal to a certain kind of Mom who wants something different and unique.
With three kids, you get more comfortable with the idea of second hand kids clothes -- heck, you get comfortable with them as soon as your first outgrows a creeper in about 6 weeks. So the Peek-a-Bootique idea really appeals to me. Everything is always clean and whole, and the store itself is also clean and bright -- not what you expect in a used clothing place. They've also got things in the store for your kids to play with when you're shopping. It's nice to have a few minutes peace to look things over.
Anyway, highly recommended. Worth a little trip over to Noe Valley! Only thing that isn't so great news is that I think they've discontinued carrying diapers. It was nice to have an emergency place for them. But then. Walgreen's is just across the street.
- Pros: Merchandise, Prices, Selection
- Cons: Discontinued diapers
I Love Peekabootique!!

I happen to be one of the lucky people who gets to work at this fabulous store. Having been working at Peekabootique for nearly 4 years, i am pleased to say it keeps getting better and better! If you haven't come by our newly remodeled store, come check it out. We also want YOUR opinions on how we can keep on making this store an even better place to shop. We, the staff here at PAB, are open to any and all suggestions. Although I am not a mother, I am a nanny, and having worked here for so long, know a lot about products for children, as well as know a lot about children in general. We have a ton of both new and used toys, clothes, equipment, safety products, shoes, and plenty of baby shower and birthday gifts. I enjoy working in this store very much and would love to meet you and family!
- Pros: Staff is helpful, Both a great selection of new and used stuff
- Cons: Parking is a bit of a hassle
