The decor and after-hours dance music belie just how cool this Castro favorite actually is. The clientele varies from gay guys, straight guys and girlfriends looking for their beau's basics. Styles here are built to last, since the goods have a retro-classic vibe: Lacoste and Penguin polos; Le coq Sportif, Puma and Adidas footwear; terrycloth Op and Hang Ten gear. Jeans are more contemporary: Diesel, Blue Marlin, Energie. Accessories are also contemporary, but just as hot--Jack Spade wallets, money clips and bags fly out of the store as soon as they're stocked.
