What People Are Saying About Jumpin' Java Coffee House

Citysearch
Located off the beaten path on a quiet, tree-lined stretch of the Castro, this casual coffeehouse invites its geek-chic, Castro-area clientele to relax and stay awhile with ample indoor and outdoor seating, free Wi-Fi access and plentiful outlets. Most people treat it as a de facto workspace, but an eclectic soundtrack and a rotating selection of local art evoke a slightly funky vibe. The menu comes second to its ambience, with basic tea, coffee and latte offerings and a handful of sandwiches, pastries and other treats.
Jumpin Java

I'm curious, is this the Jumpin Java referred to in the book Tumbleweed Logic? If so, does the author frequent the place? When?
best place to study
by misslaurat
as a student i've become a connoisseur of the coffee shop as study post. this one is perfect. internet access, lots of outlets, quiet, delicious coffee and pastries (yum, bagels - if you get there before they sell out, at least), great music selection, and a crowd as intent as i am on their work. i wouldn't recommend coming here to chat with friends, though - it's not really that kind of place.
Consistently good coffee
by steko
I can always count on Jumpin' Java for a consistently excellent cup of joe in the morning. Lots of tables & good music for just hanging out. Now offers free wireless (via AirPort/WiFi/802.11) Internet access. Parking can be difficult, though.
- Pros: Excellent coffee, Free AirPort Internet
- Cons: Limited parking
