Always A Winner. I have enoyed Sweet Inspirations many times. It has never failed to satisfy as there is always a wide slelection of choices. It's not a bakery, so if you want a cake for a party, look elsewhere. But if you want something tasty for dessert, take a look and you will most likely be extremely pleased. If I am eating dinner in the Castro with friends, I always skip dessert, and take them here to cap off the night. Always a winner.

Worst Cake Ever. Went to a Child's Birthday Party with a Chocolate/Chocolate Cake. It tasted like sawdust with chocolate overtones. It was as if it was put in the freezed and forgotten about. This was the worst cake I have ever had in my life!

DRY CAKES, HORRIBLE SERVICE. I placed an order over the phone for a cake and asked if I can have a sample. When I went there I was told they don't normally give samples, but they gave me one anyway. When I sampled the cake it was dry with no flavor. They covered the dryness with the whipped cream and strawberries. Anyway, when I called to CANCEL my order the woman remembered me and said that the guy never said that he'd give me a sample. They wouldn't cancel my order because they said it was too late. When we actually got the cake it was dry and everyone that had a piece thought so too. I WOULD NOT RECOMMED THIS PLACE . THEY ARE PROBABLY OPEN LATE HOURS BECAUSE THEY DON'T MAKE ENOUGH MONEY DURING THE REGULAR HOURS. AS FAR AS THE GOOD RATINGS, IT'S PROBABLY THE OWNERS TRYING TO PROMOTE BUSINESS.

not for the calorie conscious. Everything I have tried (quite a few of them by now) I have loved. Especially good are the hazelnut torte and the chocolate mousse.

orgasmic. if there were two sweet inspirations for every starbucks in the city, i would never want to leave...even their basic chocolate chip cookies are delectable. and the price is right, too.

Huge, delicious desserts!.
Perfect for after-dinner dessert with a friend, or if you're on a date....
The Tri-Color Chocolate Mousse Cake is to die for. I've ordered it a few times for birthday parties--always a hit!
The other desserts are excellent, too. Haven't tried the ice cream, but who would given all the pastry choices?
