This traditional, gritty taqueria, with its blue and yellow interior, is especially popular with late-night diners. After the local bars close, revelers flock here for the extremely large burritos, filled with fresh meats, such as carne asada, stewed chicken and spicy al pastor. Other fillings include fresh avocado, rice, beans, sour cream and cilantro, all wrapped in a thin grilled tortilla. Green salsa is homemade with avocado and tomatillo.

A veggie burrito at 2 am with some chips + salsa is transformational. It's the difference between waking up hungover and waking up completely coherent but unable to move. Neither is ideal, but I'll take the latter over the former any day.

This place is probably the best quick order Mexican restaurant in the city. The staff is very friendly, the food is made just the way you like it, fresh and on the spot, very reasonably priced and open late. If you have never been there, this place is guaranteed to please!
