Great Dentist. I am not sure if anyone in the world loves going to the dentist, but Dr. Facchino makes it easy. It had been years since I had been to the dentist last, so when I did go to see Dr. Facchino, it turned out I needed quite a bit of work done. He is gentle, kind, personable and a great dentist to boot. His office is easy to work with as far as figuring out how much work you can bill your insurance company for in a given year and they are patient while you wait for medical reimbursements to come through. They are located downtown in the Embarcadero Center which makes it easy to go from work if you work downtown and they have extended hours which also makes life easier. I highly recommend them.

Dr. Facchino is the best case scenario if you need to go to the dentist!. I hate going to the dentist, and I have had bad results with dentists in the past for various reasons (i.e. painful, language barrier, condescending etc.) Therefore I had many tooth issues when I finally got to Dr. F. Well, he is excellent and I recommend him to anyone. He is friendly and experienced, the office is pleasant and upbeat, appointments are easy to get and flexible, and best of all, Dr. Facchino is not judgemental about things like bad flossing habits or if I have avoided coming in. He also sat down with me and discussed my strategy for care based on my insurance budget which is a great help. Truthfully he is a bit expensive but since he helps you with your goals and is knowledgeable about insurance, it turned out to be a very well spent co-pay. Finally, he is skilled enough that my procedures were virtually painless, not to mention the assistants are forthcoming with the gas if you want it. I also had a lot of old fillings that were ugly and when he was done with me I had all white fillings and my teeth look and feel great.
