What People Are Saying About San Francisco Bay Club

In Short – One of the most expensive gyms in San Francisco, the Bay Club offers just about everything--more than 100 exercise classes per week, an aquatic center and spa services. Although this is a co-ed facility, the club does offer a separate workout room for women only. The area includes stationary bikes, treadmills, elliptical trainers and weight machines. – – –

Gotten way too crowded lately though

Great Club - Gotten way too crowded lately though. I don't know if they're discounting prices, 'coz I still pay the same rate, but much, much more people now than when I first started going here.

I'm a member of the bay club since 2004. I love how they have all kinds of classes and their instructors are very professional. the gym is very clean and spacious, people are friendly. They also have a good suttle serives, good for people work at downtown. They have tennis, basketball, squash court, and swimming pool. Three yoga rooms, I never get bored going there. The membership is totally worthy.
- Pros: Everything is good, such a thoughful club
- Cons: none
The Bay Club is the best Club I have belonged to.

Sure it is a little more expensive than some other clubs and not as exclusive as some private clubs, but all in all it has what I needed. The squash courts are good and because they limit the number of members it is usually possible to get a court. The classes are great with very professional staff and a great yoga studio. The renovated locker rooms are also very nice.
- Pros: parking is easy, squash, massage
- Cons: expensive
Loooove the Bay Club
by deesf at Citysearch
I joined the Bay Club after being unhappy with the facilities and cleanliness at other gyms. I am happy to pay the extra money I pay at the Bay Club - because it's worth it.
The staff is always helpful and welcoming, and all of the Bay Club's instructors have been great - knowledgeable, encouraging, patient, and fun.
The facilities are always clean and there are always plenty of clean towels.
- Pros: Excellent staff, Clean facilities, Parking
- Cons: Older gym - not hip
