Kind of Greek, mostly not. While this place has Greek sounding offerings, it is really not authentic Greek cusine. A good example of this - there are no Greek wines offered, amazing! I am from a city that has a large Greek community and I know what Greek food should be. This isn't it. Nice decor and a trendy setting, but I went there expecting more based on reviews, but I was dissappointed in the food, service, and prices. This place is way too popular for some unknown reason and the waiters are way too busy. They got my entree completely wrong - chicken and potatoes instead of lamb and soup! Made up for it by free dessert. Overall - a currently trendy place, but it's not at all close to what Greeks would recognize as their style.…
Amazing Greek cuisine. I am not a fan of Greek food, but I loved Kokkari. Their chicken skewers with yogurt were perfectly cooked and their pita bread and hummus was the best I have ever had. I love their large fireplace where they roast the daily specials right in front of you!…
Fabulous, busy and pricey.. Love the place. I've spent thousands in there. My stomach is not a cheap date! Greek food at its best.
Usually Fantastic. We usually LOVE everything about this restaurant, they do a fantastic job with the food and the atmosphere is amazing. We went a couple of weeks ago on a Saturday and really felt rushed. Our appetizers came out within 5 minutes of ordering and our entrees came the second we put our forks down from the appetizers. We literally could have been in and out of the restaurant with drinks and dessert in 40 minutes. This is the first time we have felt this rushed and I hope it is the last.…
