AVOID THIS PLACE - ITS A RACKET. at the get go the the customer service by - "Frank" was all hardsell trying to upsell me everything I really had no use for - Didn't really care about my needs - really just concerned with his bottom line and his bosses - and he needed to bathe. Not happenings that really set you up for a pleasant experience.

When I finally receive my glasses - They were progressive lenses - they quoted me 7 days it actually to 14 days - another black mark - I recommend if you are looking for glasses you check our Urban Eyes - on Market Near 15th St - The owner and Optometrists goes by the name of Lawrence. Don't waste your time or your money at Site for Sore Eyes.

site for sore business. If you don't know what's right for you they'll surely miss lead you into the most expensive prescription they can. I have never worn glasses before and was told progressive lenses are the way to go for me. After the sale, when all was paid and i went to pick the up glasses, 2 weeks later, they told me it might take a while to get used to these glasses, and they may even make me dizzy etc. They didn't work for me, and my free pair of glasses ended up costing an extra 180 for the progressive lenses. So I lost about 400 bucks on lenses because they had no intention of paying for their bad advice.

I see Clearly Now!. Site for Sore Eyes is excellent. Especially the staff. The Woman i spoke with that helped me pick out my new glasses was very nice. She made my experience very informative and satisfying. She answered all my questions and helped me make the best choice in just a short time. I have my excellent new glasses now, and i can see clearly ,the things i didnt before. I will refer Site for Sore Eyes to all my clients, and i will return in the future.- Dr. N.M.Granville , Vero Park , Toronto

Ripped Off. Avoid this store. After buying a pair of glasses there, I went in about a dozen times asking for them to do something because the glasses gave me headaches. They never corrected the problem. I never took to wearing these glasses because they hurt and the old glasses they were supposed to replace still helped (even though the Rx was no longer exactly right). Eventually another optomitrist discovered the lenses were improperly aligned in the frame and that is why the glasses gave me headaches. The other doctor also told me I had been sold expensive progressive lenses when much less expensive bifocals were better suited to my needs. I went back to Site for Sore Eyes, nicely pointing out their shoddy workmanship and asking them to replace the lenses with properly aligned lenses...i.e., do what I had paid them to do. They refused, saying I had waited to long to point out the mistake they made but never found or owned up to. Then they tried to sell me another pair of glasses for 30% off! I passed...rip me off once, shame on them. Letting them rip me off twice would have been shame on me.

Great customer service. Highly recommended for anyone looking for contacts or glasses. I went because I wasn't looking to spend a lot of money (limited vision coverage at work so I was a cash customer) and I wanted a place close to work. A month ago I got contacts for the first time and the doctor I saw there was efficient, but really helpful and receptive to my questions. She also did both the contact and glasses eye exam instead of making them two separate exams as I would have had to through my insurer at greater cost. The folks out front who walked me through the initial paperwork had a great attitude. The guy who showed me how to put in the lenses was incredibly patient and encouraging. Last week I went in to get new glasses to take advantage of a great deal (50% off one pair plus a second pair free). I was able to splurge and get nicer glasses than I expected with a couple extra features plus a back-up pair for what I was willing to spend on one pair. The only knock is the glasses took two days longer than estimated, but I had been told when I ordered them that the lens cutter was on vacation. (My contacts came exactly when they told me they would.) I was really impressed by their customer service on all of my visits - it's clearly important to the folks who work there. I'd definitely go back.
